Mikrodust raises SEK 10 Million in funding

matsThe IDEON company Mikrodust, which develops test equipment for mass production of electronic products, is raising SEK 10 million in an investment round led by the Johnson Tibia Konsult business family. The money will go to marketing the company's new platform and to expanding the team in Lund by 50 percent.

- We have spread the ownership to some strategically well-chosen investors. Tibia Konsult becomes a partner and buys up about 15 percent, says Mats Iderup, CEO of Mikrodust.

One of the owners that has been involved since the start ten years ago is the Israeli company Crow Electronic Engineering Ltd. - and one of Mikrodust's largest customers is the security company Verisure.

The Lund Company delivers advanced production testers for electronics, especially for testing energy-efficient IoT products. The company has gone from working with product development to focusing on in-house developed test fixtures for high-volume products. The money from the investment round will go to broad marketing efforts and the launch of the new platform.

- We can now present the third generation of our platform which will be named AtoMik™. In connection with the launch that will take place this spring, we will go in on a broad front and strengthen, above all around marketing and sales.

The company is currently in an expansive phase and has moved to more appropriate premises in the Ideon area.

- We are eighteen people at the moment and will recruit another eight to ten by the end of 2023. A lot is happening with us on various levels and the time ahead will be exciting to follow, says Mats Iderup.
