At Mikrodust we are experts at developing test and measurement systems optimized for electronics production and we work with well-known customers around the world. We are looking for a dedicated and strategically minded purchaser who can take the first steps to shape our purchasing department.

What will you do?

As a purchaser at Mikrodust, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies. You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms. You will also participate in monitoring and evaluating supplier performance to ensure quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will analyse market trends and costs to ensure the best possible purchasing conditions.
You will participate in defining and implementing purchase and logistics flows in our business system and defining standards for inventory management. Collaboration with other departments will be key to supporting the company’s overall goals and strategy.
Initially you will also support the Operations and Project Manager which requires you to plan and coordinate activities with the other departments, suppliers, and customers.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a relevant educational background, such as in economics, logistics, or business administration. Previous experience in purchasing, particularly from electronics industry is highly desirable. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and take initiative. The role requires good analytical skills and experience working with data to make informed decisions.
Previous experience using Pyramid Business System is considered a merit.
Previous experience from Project management, planning or coordination is considered a merit.

Mikrodust AB started its journey in 2011 and today has around 20 employees at the office in Lund. The company has its focus area in the development and sale of advanced test fixtures for electronic production. The company develops these test fixtures, based on the proprietary Test & Measurement System AtoMik®, to assist its customers with efficient and qualitative production tests. The company also offers product development of e.g. wireless products.
Mikrodust has the vision to become one of the leaders in Europe in the development, certification and production of unique and affordable test systems and is now in a “scale-up” investment.
